Comment on Mountain View Specialty Care Center - Greensburg, PA written by: Ron F. 08/20/2013 12:07PM Our 1st visiable impression was it is an average facility. However, looks are only skin deep. Alice Piper, Ron's mother, has been a resident for a few months now. Her care is exceptional. She was a difficult patient to deal with at another local rehab center on numerous times over the past few years. However, with the attention, care, activities and nursing she has received at Mt. View, she is doing phycially, mentally and emotionally better than she has for years.

We are very confident that she will be very comfortably at home here for years to come.

I'd like to say a special "Thank You" to Holly Reese & Jackie Piper. Their care, advise and help to Alice & our family during this transition period was & is outstanding.

We'd like to thank all of the team members at Mt. View for their care and support.

He is taken care of and he is happy there.
They are wonderful people. My first impression was not all that great but when I saw how they took care of people I changed my mine.
Just because a place looks beautiful donen't mean it cares.
I feel the money is given to the best professional help and best treatments.
Who cares what it looks like as long as it is clean and helping people.

If you want to know about a bad nursing home try Clinton Air in Michagan Now that is a home that will kill you .They do not care.

It smelled inside and the rooms were very impersonal and not at all like a homey, comforting place. The bathroom in my dad's room looked like something you would see at a gas station. This place was not a good place.

My dad begged us to take him home after just two days. He was in for rehab. Would NOT recommend this facility to anyone.
